Q. How much are United Talent's placement fees for employees?
A. Our employees pay no fees.

Q. What qualifications do I need to work for United Talent?
A. United Talent has a variety of jobs available, from an entry-level clerk to an executive secretary or skilled professional.

Q. Is computer training available?
A. Yes, for registered employees that qualify.

Q. How often do employees get paid?
A. Weekly and direct deposit to either savings or checking is available.

Q. Can I turn down assignments?
A. Yes, that's the advantage of working as a temp, you can work when you want.

Q. Will I be considered for full-time placement if I'm working a temp assignment?
A. Yes. United Talent will continue to look for a full-time position for you while you are on temporary assignment.

Q. Does United Talent offer benefits?
A. Yes.

Q. What geographical area does United Talent serve?
A. United Talent offers executive placement and payrolling statewide.  All other services are available from our 3 branches located in Charleston, Morgantown and Teays Valley.  From these branch offices, we are currently servicing many counties in West Virginia.

Q. How do I register with United Talent?
A. Call your local branch office between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday: Charleston (304)556-1190, Morgantown (304) 225-1199, or Teays Valley (304) 760-1050.

Q. Does United Talent conduct testing?
A. Yes.

Q. How long do people hold temporary jobs?
A. While specific jobs may last a few hours to many years, the best estimates for the average tenure of temporary and contract assignments is three to four months.

Q. What kind of pay can I expect to receive?
A. To attract the most qualified employees, United Talent offers highly competitive wages based on job responsibilities, location, and overall aptitude. The average temporary or contract employee may earn $7.00-12.00/hr.
